The Sculptural Art of Gene Dodak

Sometimes the sculptor is a work of art himself. Case in point is Artist Gene Dodak from Palm Springs. We invite you to look past Gene’s incredible body to view his body of incredible work. We are fascinated by Gene’s clay “Totems” inspired by nature and aquatic life, as well as his Mid-Century inspired lamps and vessels.

i am a fan of Gene’s work and have my own piece of sculpture that brings me great joy. Each piece connects it’s elements of Earth and Sea with a creative element of playful imagination and great style. Having his sculptures around you feels like a walk in nature where magical dragon flies and banks of green fern send vibes of harmony and peace and beauty. His gift is mighty.

Gene, thanks so much for giving Duane and I a personal tour of the garden and showing us your totems. From the work I see it reminds me of the era of Brush McCoy. I love the vessels. Do you make pedastles to sit them on? It would be nice for me to have a piece of “art” in my house that reflects the here and now. Much of everything in my house is from a previous life but really doesn’t represent the present.
