We have a thing for collecting vintage lunch boxes from the 60’s and 70’s, which in the last decade have become hot collectibles! Here are a few of our faves…
Who doesn’t love the original Planet of the Apes movies from the 60’s and 70’s?
Sure, everybody had a Star Wars lunch box, but the campier TV copycat Battlestar Galactica is much harder to find!
Does anyone remember this obscure TV series which only lasted two seasons on ABC? Produced by Irwin Allen, Land of the Giants has since become a cult favorite!
1960’s Lost in Space started out as a smart Sci Fi series about a space age Family Robinson. It quickly devolved into a campy, kitschy show revolving around the very gay Dr. Smith and Robot. Still, it remains a childhood favorite for many.
The original “Girl Power” epitomized by smart Sabrina, beautiful Kelly, and sexy Kris as Charlie’s Angels, one of the most popular TV shows of the 70’s. By the time this lunch box arrived on shelves, superstar Farrah Fawcett had left for her film career, and replaced by Cheryl Ladd.
